It Has Been A Year…
3rd January, Michael Schumacher’s birthday and the day in 2011 when I decided to launch my own Formula1 blog. While the blog might be an amateur effort (I am trying to manage everything myself!), I try and make sure the content is not.
Over the last 365 days I have managed over 120 posts, which is about one-third of what I had in mind when I decided to launch this blog. However, I would like to thank each one of you for taking time off to read and comment on my thoughts on Formula1 and now the i1 Super Series.
There have been posts which have been over-subscribed to and a few that have failed to take off! However, here’s also a BIG thank you to the iSport team for co-publishing all the content on their premier sports blogging website, www.isport.in
The plan for the 2012 Formula1 season is to better what I have managed in 2011 in terms of quality and then quantity. I had started F1 statistics on my blog (courtesy Hiral Saha and Murari Kadam) and the plan is to make that a regular feature from this season.
A BIG thank you also to RJ Rishi Kapoor for taking interest in co-hosting Formula1 podcasts with me for my blog and for iSport! Rishi is a great artist who loves Formula1 and we are in process of bettering our podcasts for the coming season. We are still finalizing our presentation format, so your thoughts and comments on our podcasts are welcome (Do share them in the comments section below).
I have got a lot of requests from my readers to increase the business and commercial content on Formula1 on my blog, so I will be making a conscious effort to do so. If you have any content related queries or thoughts that you would like to share, do drop me an email via my blog.
So while we wait in anticipation for the 2012 Formula1 season to take shape, keep reading and keep racing on my Formula1 blog! And also, to those waiting in even more anticipation for Schumi’s maiden podium (post his comeback) the wait might not be too long, hopefully!
