Lewis Hamilton may have won in Canada, but it was the second time this season where he was gifted a victory. First by Red Bull Racing and now by Ferrari – it seems like the entire paddock is conspiring to have Lewis Hamilton as World Champion again! Pity Justin Bieber wasn’t around to celebrate with Lewis on the podium.

Max Verstappen or Carlos Sainz Jr. – which future World Champion had a better race in Canada? And Kimi Raikkonen could learn a trick or two from Verstappen’s brilliant defence over Nico Rosberg’s charges in Canada. What’s common between a Formula 1 race and the Amber Lounge bar menu? We tell you.

Speaking of conspiracies, Daniel Ricciardo had a slow pit-stop again (and we are not surprised). Should he jump ship to Ferrari? Given his recent slump, is it game over for Nico Rosberg this season already? His four consecutive race wins seem too far away.

Formula 1 pitches its tent in Baku this weekend for the European Grand Prix. We tell you what to look out for and the best seats in the stands. We also pray it’s an exciting race, because they say it’ll be around for ten long years.

  • Yes, because every F1 driver wants to give another F1 driver the world championship. Must be a very slow news day.

  • It looks like Merc has started to back the spoiled brat Hamilton more than Rosberg? Very similar to RBR in 2010 and what they did to Webber! It doesn’t take much to happen, (1 pit stop vs 2; sending one driver back out with traffic all around vs one that goes out with a clear track and so on), for one driver to get an advantage! Rosberg was doing great, than starts having problems at the start or Hamilton runs him wide and Merc does nothing or telling Rosberg to move over to let the beat go by! Would they do that if roles were reversed?? Seriously doubt it. What happened to letting them fight it out? At RBR, Marko loved Vettel and let it be known when he gave Vettel some of Webber’s parts and ran Vettel on a single pit stop while running Webber on two or three stop plus more! Ron loves Hamilton and for the past few races we have seen changes at Merc that have favored the brat.. If Rosberg wants to win he is going to have to do it by himself and probably break some Merc so-called rules! What he should do is do the same to Hamilton that Hamilton has been doing to him! Hamilton has always been about himself. He is not much of a teammate! He cries when things don’t go his way, similar to Vettel, and never thinks anything is his fault.. A true self-centered egotistical lil’ a.r.sehole!

    • I am glad to finally read what I have always wanted to hear thank you for what you wrote down..how true it all is only problem is Nico needs to read it & follow your advice,I have been saying it for years he needs to grow some Balls & Harden Up & Go out & race his Way not Lewis’s way don’t give him an inch, because he’ll take the track if you let him,I know Nico is not tarnished with the same brush as Hamilton we all know that but nice guys don’t win races or WDC I just hope & pray that Nico can really take the bull by the horns & go for it.Lets hope it’s now thanks again for your honest opinion
