15: Rival Teams To Protest Leclerc's Sim Setup?

15: Rival Teams To Protest Leclerc's Sim Setup?

Charles Leclerc is on a roll (again!). He’s won two Virtual GPs back-to-back. We’re sure you remember what happened the last time he won two Formula 1 GPs back-to-back – there were protests against Ferrari’s power unit. We assume that protesting against sim setup is the virtual racing equivalent to protesting against Ferrari’s power unit. Will the FIA be able to prove the legality of LEC’s sim? Or will Ferrari opt for another settlement?
Also in this episode of the Inside Line F1 Podcast (https://bit.ly/insidelinef1pod) , we discuss Toto Wolff’s efforts to secure his future in the Formula 1 paddock just as rumours emerge that Sebastian Vettel might be struggling to salvage his future with Ferrari. We tell you why many unexpected circuits may be coming forward and showing interest to host Formula 1 races in 2020. Did you know that Romain Grosjean is the only team-mate Kimi Raikkonen isn’t friends with? Tune in!
(Season 2020, Episode 15)
Here’s what’s in store for you in this episode:
0:00-3:00 – Kimi Raikkonen offers the most-epic stance on F1’s Virtual GPs. Do you agree with him, too?
3:00-6:00 – Alexander Albon is the other driver who’s been on fire in the Virtual GPs. Would Helmut Marko be impressed, too? Liberty Media has vested interests in the second seat at Red Bull Racing
6:00-9:00 – The rumours around Sebastian Vettel’s extension with Ferrari. Have these rumours been spread to keep the conversation on-going in this long off-season?
9:00-12:00 – The truth: Charles Leclerc is yet to prove that he’s a championship contender for Ferrari. We’re displeased with 33% of the drivers named as Vettel’s possible replacements at Ferrari
12:00-15:00 –  The most-surprising exclusion in the list of replacements for Vettel? Sergio Perez! And of course, Fernando Alonso – would he be making a comeback, too?
15:00-18:00 – Would you tune in to a Formula 1 race on a Wednesday? Pay TV contracts could actually come to Formula 1’s rescue in 2020. Those TV contracts could be funding the races this season
18:00-end – Toto Wolff’s investment in Aston Martin could lead us to a Lewis Hamilton-Lance Stroll partnership at Aston Martin F1 Team?
