Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 & Cruise Hospitality with MSC Cruises

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix packages & cruise hospitality offered via MSC Cruises partnership with Formula 1

The Formula 1™ 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™ was my first visit to one of the more-famous races in the Middle East. While the race wasn’t memorable (Force India lost 6th place to Williams at the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi), I was highly impressed by the Yas Marina Hotel and the circuit built around it.

Until the track changes in 2022, the circuit layout wasn’t particularly liked by the drivers. However, for fans and sponsors/guests attending, the Formula 1™ Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™ has always offered an unparalleled experience off-track. The circuit and its facilities perfectly blend luxury and entertainment, both of which are coupled in the most-popular Formula 1™ Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™ packages for those considering attending.

At most traditional circuits, Formula 1 ® offers ‘F1 Paddock Club™’ hospitality for teams to host their sponsors at. At the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, along with the regular F1 Paddock Club™, the hotel offers banquet halls that have balconies that open up to various corners of the circuit (yes, you may have seen this on TV, too). I can share from my Force India experience that the hospitality in Abu Dhabi was in more demand from sponsors than some of the other circuits in the region.

From 2023, the Formula 1™ Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™ packages will go one notch higher in terms of experience! Formula 1 ® announced a five-year partnership with MSC Cruises (their circuit branding at most races is easy to spot) and the famous cruise company has announced unique cruise hospitality packages for the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023.

MSC Virtuosa & Formula 1 ®

In an effort to bring all-in-one cruise and hospitality packages for the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, MSC Cruises and Formula 1 ® will offer high-class accommodation on-board the MSC Virtuosa, various ticket options at the Yas Marina Circuit ranging from Grandstand tickets to Premium Hospitality, cruise-circuit transfers, access to the much-regarded Pit Lane and meet-greet opportunities with some of Formula 1 ®’s biggest celebrities.

As someone who enjoys living on sea and land, MSC-Formula 1 ®’s offer seems like one of the best Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™ packages to live and experience the season-ending race in style.

On-board MSC Virtuosa

Finding accommodation near the circuit is often one of the bigger pain points for those looking to travel to the races. The more-convenient hotels are booked out by Formula 1 ® teams and personnel months in advance often leaving fans with little choice. Travel to-from the circuit is another pain point altogether.

Living aboard the MSC Virtuosa might actually be a practical experience from a logistics point of view. The grand cruise ship will be docked in the Abu Dhabi Port for the entire Grand Prix™ weekend (23-27 November) and will offer cruise-circuit transfers to all. The accommodation options range from elegant cabins to deluxe suites.

Also onboard the MSC Virtuosa will be the opportunity to enjoy various Formula 1 ®-themed activities, fine-dining experiences, bars and other forms of entertainment for adults and children. In all, the off-track activities will be as engaging than the on-track entertainment, if not more.

MSC Cruises and Formula 1 ® take pride in creating unique and unforgettable guest memories. I’m sure their latest Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 packages will offer fans a Motorsport experience like no other.
