Interesting F1 Statistics Till The 2011 German Grand Prix

– Only 6 drivers have led a race this season; Mark Webber is yet to lead a single lap. Most laps led: Sebastian Vettel (435 out of 551 laps so far)

– Only 2 drivers have 9 starts and 9 finishes, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber

– Sebastian Vettel is the only driver to have achieved podiums (9 in total) in all races so far this season (6 wins and 3 second place finishes). Mark Webber (5), Jenson Button (4), Fernando Alonso (4), Lewis Hamilton (3), Vitaly Petrov (1) and Nick Heidfeld (1)

– Red Bull Racing have maintained a 100 percent qualifying record with 9 pole positions. (Sebastian Vettel: 7 and Mark Webber: 2) (Read: My Observations from 2011 British GP Qualifying)

– Mark Webber has clocked 4 fastest laps this Formula1 season, Massa (1), Hamilton (1), Button (1), Vettel (1), Alonso (1)

– Red Bull have notched up 6 wins, Mclaren two and Ferrari one so far this season

– Red Bull is the only team to have completed all the laps this season: 1102 laps, Renault: 1066 laps, Force India: 1052 laps, McLaren: 1026 laps, Ferrari: 1013 laps

– Paul di Resta has completed 528 laps, 4 more than team mate Adrian Sutil

– Total no. of laps completed in the 2011 British GP – 1075 out of 1248, 12 drivers managed to finish all laps – 52

– Fernando Alonso’s British GP win was 27th of career; 5th in all time most wins table with Jackie Stewart

– Alonso’s fastest lap in the 2011 British GP was the 19th of career and is 11th in the all time fastest lap table with Damon Hill

– A total of 54 pit stops in the 2011 British GP; 1st by Michael Schumacher on lap 9 and last by Felipe Massa on lap 41

– Total no. of pit stops this season – 46+59+58+82+77+43+76+65+54= 560

– Total no. of pit stops by top drivers this season – Sebastian Vettel (26), Mark Webber (30), Lewis Hamilton (26), Jenson Button (29), Fernando Alonso (29), Felipe Massa (26), Michael Schumacher (25) and Nico Rosberg (27)

    Kunal, will we get to see a Grand Slam (pole, all laps led, and fastest time) by any of the drivers? Has Vettel done this yet this season?

      I think Vettel scored a hat-trick in Valencia ’11
